We have recently been bombarded on television commercials with taking the Activia Challenge to alleviate bloating, and irregularity. The secret ingredients to making you ‘feel’ better in this yogurt product are probiotics. These probiotics are essentially the live bugs in the gut commonly referred to as your good bacteria. It is necessary to have a good balance of good bacteria for bowel maintenance.
While the commercials urging us to take the Activia Challenge have brought an awareness to this common problem, I am not a fan of this product. If you are going to consume a yogurt product make sure it is organic. Most non-organic yogurt products contain the deadly ingredient aspartame, splenda, or some other artificial sweetener.
